GraceMatch is a community of Christians who are seeking marriage rooted in faith. This Statement of Faith is the common ground every member affirms when they join. It is intentionally broad — we welcome believers from Roman Catholic, Born Again, Baptist, Evangelical, Pentecostal, Iglesia ni Cristo, Methodist, Anglican, Presbyterian, and other Christian traditions who can affirm the historic Christian faith summarised below.
What We Believe
One God in Three Persons
We believe in one eternal God who exists as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — one in essence, distinct in person, perfect in love.
Jesus Christ, Our Lord and Saviour
We believe Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man — conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, crucified for our sins, raised on the third day, ascended to the right hand of the Father, and will return to judge the living and the dead. Salvation is found in Him alone, received by grace through faith.
The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit indwells every believer, convicts the world of sin, and guides Christians into all truth, equipping them with gifts for the building up of the Church and the service of others.
The Bible
We believe the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are the inspired Word of God, the supreme written authority for faith and practice in the Christian life.
The Church
We believe in the one, holy, universal communion of Christian believers across every nation, tradition, and time, united in Christ.
Eternal Hope
We believe in the resurrection of the dead and life everlasting with God for those who trust in Jesus Christ.
What We Believe About Marriage
We believe marriage is a sacred covenant ordained by God — a lifelong, exclusive union between one man and one woman, intended to reflect the love of Christ for His Church. Marriage is to be entered into prayerfully, honoured faithfully, and built upon mutual love, sacrifice, honesty, and the shared pursuit of God.
This is why GraceMatch exists. We are not a casual dating platform. We are a community designed to help marriage-minded Christian Filipinas and faithful Christian men find each other and walk together — under God — toward lifelong covenant.
What Membership Commits You To
By joining GraceMatch, you agree to:
- Honesty. Your profile, photos, age, location, marital status, and intentions are truthful. Misrepresentation is grounds for permanent removal.
- Respect. You treat every member as a brother or sister in Christ, even those you do not choose to pursue. Harassment, intimidation, or sexually explicit content is not tolerated.
- Integrity. You will never ask another member for money, financial assistance, gift cards, or investment opportunities — and you will report any member who asks the same of you.
- Marriage-mindedness. You are pursuing a serious relationship with the intention of marriage, not casual dating, hookups, or pen-pal friendships.
- Single status. You are legally and biblically free to marry — not currently married, separated, or in another committed relationship.
We are a community, not just a service. Members who breach these commitments are removed so the rest of the community remains safe and trustworthy.
On Denominational Diversity
Christians have differed in good faith on many secondary matters for two thousand years — modes of baptism, church governance, the nature of the sacraments, eschatology, and more. GraceMatch does not require agreement on these. We ask only that members affirm the core of the historic Christian faith outlined above and pursue relationships in keeping with Christian values.
When considering a potential match from a different tradition than your own, we encourage prayerful discernment, honest conversation about the practical implications, and — where appropriate — guidance from your pastor, priest, or spiritual mentor.
A Prayer for Our Members
Heavenly Father, we ask Your blessing on every man and woman who joins this community in search of a spouse. Guard their hearts. Grant them wisdom and patience. Lead them away from those who would deceive or harm, and toward the person You have prepared for them. Where You bring two together, let their union honour You, bless their families, and bear good fruit for generations. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
