How GraceMatch works

Quick answers to the questions Filipinos and Filipinas ask us most.

Is GraceMatch really free?

Yes. During our founders’ phase, everything is free for every member — profile, verification, browsing, unlimited messaging. We may introduce a small premium tier later, but anyone who joins during the founders’ phase keeps their access on the same terms.

Who is GraceMatch for?

Marriage-minded Christian Filipinos and Filipinas in the Philippines. We are a faith-first platform for serious people seeking a Christian spouse — brothers seeking sisters, sisters seeking brothers.

How does verification work?

After you sign up, go to your Account → Verify and upload one clear selfie holding up two fingers in a peace sign (✌) next to your face. Our small team in Iligan reviews each submission manually within 24 hours. We use your selfie only to confirm you are a real human Christian member. We delete it 90 days after approval.

Why is verification required?

Every Filipino brother and every Filipina sister on this platform deserves to know that every other member is a real, faith-declared person — not a scammer or a fake profile. Verification is how we earn that trust.

How do I send a message?

Open a member’s profile and click Send message. You can send and receive unlimited messages during the founders’ phase. Messages are private between you and the other member.

What is the Interested button?

On every member’s profile there is a ♡ Interested button next to Send message. Tap it to say “I’d like to get to know you” without having to write the perfect first message. The other member gets an email letting them know a verified brother or sister is interested. If they tap Interested on your profile too, it’s a match: you both get an email and can start a conversation.

What happens if they are not interested?

Nothing. They are never asked to say no, and you are never told. There is no awkward rejection. You can also withdraw your interest any time before it becomes a match. To keep GraceMatch respectful, every member can show interest in up to 5 people a day, and only verified members can send or receive interest.

Where do I see who is interested in me?

Go to My Account. At the top you will see Your matches (people you are both interested in) and Interested in you. Tap Interested back if you would like to get to know them.

How can I see my profile the way others see it?

Go to My Account and tap Preview my profile. You will see your profile exactly as other members see it. Sections you leave blank are hidden, so it is worth adding a clear photo and filling in your “About” and “Faith journey” sections.

Why don’t I see names on the homepage?

To protect our members’ privacy, the “Recently joined” section on our public homepage shows only age and location. Full profiles, including names and photos, are visible only to signed-in members.

How do I report a profile or message?

If anyone asks you for money, refuses video calls, sends inappropriate content, or behaves badly — report them. Use the Report a Profile page or email hello@gracematch.ph. We review every report.

How do I delete my account?

Email hello@gracematch.ph with “Account deletion” in the subject line. Under the Philippine Data Privacy Act (RA 10173) we will process your request and confirm full erasure within 30 days. No questions asked.
